We caught the 1455 train from Granada. Easy process and seats in 2nd class which were good.
We arrived pretty much on time and walked the 25 minutes or so to our AirBnb.
This is the view from one of our balconies...
And the other one...
The streets are pretty...
We then walked to the river, and walked past the Mosque-Cathedral, where we will go tomorrow...
We had a rest and a drink by the river then headed to dinner at a place I had researched, Rooftop 1928...
The food was great. Pork belly...
Eggplant...
Artichoke...
Walking home at about 9pm...
The next morning we went to the Cathedral-Mosque (see separate post), then we walked past the Alcazar which was closed for renovations...
Then we walked past another patio...
We had lunch at a restaurant in our street that our host had recommended, called La Boca. Very local and we sat in a lovely courtyard...
The menu was in Spanish and this translated to fake risotto. I saw her write down Falso and it seems it means that was with black rice. Anyway, it was really tasty...
In the evening we went for a walk across the river, and then back over the Roman Bridge. This is a photo of the Roman Bridge from the next one down...
Walking back across looking to the Mosque-Cathedral...
I had traditional Cordoban cuisine - Salmorejo (creamy tomato soup) and flamenquin which are breaded pork rolls. Nice but quite heavy.
The next morning we went to a cafe nearby called Singular, that our host had recommended...
Then for a walk along the river...
Then we went back to our apartment to pick up our bags, and walked to the station for our 1120 train to Seville. This is the main square on the way to the station...
