The next morning I caught a Grab to the Imperial City. It wasn't far but it's very hot so I got there about 8am to beat the heat and the crowds.

Looking back the way I had come...
There were a lot of people in traditional dress taking photos...
The city is a big square so it's quite easy to find your way around...
The architecture is very nice...
It was like a big compound with each area having it's own living quarters...
Love the colours...

I stopped for a coffee and called a Grab to my next destination, Thien Mu Pagoda. The cafe was in a really nice setting...
I really enjoyed the Imperial City.
