Perth - March 2026

I went to Perth for a few days for work. I was lucky to get a points upgrade to Business Class...

I managed to sleep for a few hours...

The business class cabin is quite spacious...

I couldn't get an Uber so caught a taxi which was much more expensive. Got to the hotel about 10pm local time which is 1am Sydney time.

I'm staying at The Adnate where I have stayed before. It's a good 4 star hotel with a large room and open view, just up Hay Street from the office...

It's very warm for late March...

I had breakfast the next morning at my favourite cafe across the road, the Kinky Lizard...

Then I headed to work. This is the view from my office...

For dinner I walked to Northbridge which is close by and has many eating and drinking options. I went to an Italian restaurant called No Mafia. The duck pappardelle was great...

Walking back along Hay Street to my hotel. This is the theatre...

The next night I tried another place in Northbridge. Asia fusion in a pub. It was lovely sitting on the balcony...

And the food was great. This is seared beef...

Tofu...

and broccoli...

Flew back on the 1530 flight which gets me into Sydney at 2230. Long day!
