Pompei - Saturday 24 June

I have always wanted to go to Pompei. We walked to the main street of Naples, and joined a tour. About 30 minute drive to Pompei. It's hot and there are many people here.



House of Menander who was a rich guy...


Most of the people who died, were slaves who had been left behind. Seems the wealthy had time to escape.

These are the public baths...







It's hot and quite hard work walking on the cobbled streets. Headed back to the bus and back to Naples.
