Shanghai - July 2018

Back to Shanghai for work. 6th time at The Langham. Got a nice room - they are all nice - but this one they called a suite. Just bigger with a sofa and bigger bathroom...

Very hot this time...

Nice dinner at Calix in XTD (Xintiandi). Prawn and crab risotto...

Work contact took me out for drinks to Highline. Close to my hotel. I ordered the signature cocktail. Felt a bit stupid drinking it...

Lots of mobile working. This is from my breakfast place...

Stayed the Saturday and played tourist...

Had lunch at my favourite Yunan Restaurant, Lost Heaven on The Bund...

Stumbled across a tea place and tried the pineapple green tea...refreshing...

Lots of nice cars around. This is at the Langham...

Had dinner at The Nest...

Went to Jing'an temple. Was okay but I've seen a lot of temples in my time, and it was similar to the rest of them...

Hong Kong - July 2018

One Saturday I went to Cheung Chau for a hike. Been there before but not really hiked. Really steamy day but a nice walk around part of the island.

Walked from Star Ferry terminal to Admiralty one day. How is it that I have never noticed this building before ?

Went for lunch one day to Yum Cha in Central...

One of my projects completed successfully...

Went to Sai Ying Pun for brunch for Callum's 14th birthday...

Callum and I took my friend's dog for a walk one Sunday morning. Got kicked out of the zoo (no dogs allowed) !

Phuket - Monday 2 July 2018

Overcast for our last day. We all went and had a massage at Pineapple Massage.

Friendly cat at the hotel...

Went for a walk to South Karon. Similar to where we are staying. Power lines...

Then hung by the pool and went for dinner.

Transfer to airport at 2030 for a 2340 flight. Landed in HK at 0415 and went home for a sleep and then to work.
