I flew back to HK yesterday, New Year's Eve, with Jacqui and Callum.
We caught a taxi from the airport to our new apartment in Sai Ying Pun to get the keys, and do some paperwork. It's really nice. Left some stuff and got a taxi to Elgin St as there are no beds yet at the new place.
Crashed as we'd been up since 0430. Woke to the sound of fireworks at midnight. Could see just the top of them from the apartment.
Next day, New Year's Day, we packed up Elgin Street and caught taxi to the new place. I have loved living there and will miss it.
Went to lunch at a local place right across the road. Then went back for the Ikea delivery, and we started assembling beds.
Dinner at Vietnamese place near the apartment and crashed.
Glad I bought this in Australia...
