Shanghai - July 2018

Back to Shanghai for work. 6th time at The Langham. Got a nice room - they are all nice - but this one they called a suite. Just bigger with a sofa and bigger bathroom...





Very hot this time...


Nice dinner at Calix in XTD (Xintiandi). Prawn and crab risotto...


Work contact took me out for drinks to Highline. Close to my hotel. I ordered the signature cocktail. Felt a bit stupid drinking it...





Lots of mobile working. This is from my breakfast place...


Stayed the Saturday and played tourist...





Had lunch at my favourite Yunan Restaurant, Lost Heaven on The Bund...





Stumbled across a tea place and tried the pineapple green tea...refreshing...


Lots of nice cars around. This is at the Langham...


Had dinner at The Nest...




Went to Jing'an temple. Was okay but I've seen a lot of temples in my time, and it was similar to the rest of them...








Had lunch at a local place...


At the airport...

    Sounds like a busy 2018, I’m kinda jealous…ha ha! I haven’t been in china lot so I would love to visit all these places. We did go to Hong Kong last year and I loved it! I wish you safe travels for the new year.
