Grand Cayman - Saturday 18 November 2017

Got up early and walked to Safehaven Dock to join a Red Sail stingray tour. We motored out to a sandbar where the stingrays hang out and are fed. Very windy and choppy but we jumped into the water which was nice.

Stingrays just swim around you hoping for food. One very tame one which was huge just let you hold it. It just came up to the tour guide and he handed it over to each of us for a hold and a photo. Tour was about 4 hours.

Tour was about 4 hours. We also visited Starfish Point and the mangroves.

After docking, I walked back to the hotel and had some lunch and then a swim at the beach.

Lunch at the Westin pool bar...shrimp tacos...

After that, with my colleague Osa, we drove right around the island to Rum Point. Rustic restaurants and bars right on the beach.

Had a rum (Blue Iguana)...

In the evening we headed to Camana Bay which was very close. Met our other colleague Brian and his wife Helen,  and watched the lighting of the Christmas Tree. Then had dinner at an Indian restaurant which was good.
